Himalayan Trek Ventures offers everything from active trekking experiences in the highest mountains of the world to personalized cultural tours, luxury accommodation, porter service, expert guides, and reliable vehicle rental – we create experiences that provide a deep connection with the soul of Nepal.
- Which trekking regions do you operate in?
We are specific to our work in the Everest and Annapurna regions, where every step reveals stunning panoramas and ancient traditions. However, we can still guarantee equal excellence in trekking along any of the well-known trekking trails throughout Nepal.
- Can trekking itineraries be customized?
Of course, your journey is your story. We customize all of our treks based on the experiences you are seeking, whether it be a peaceful trek, cultural learning, or purely adventure – we create different routes and experiences just for you.
- What type of accommodation do you provide?
We provide a balance of comfort and authentic lodging; we provide lodges and tea houses along the trails and will secure luxurious hotel accommodation to relax and restore energy in Kathmandu and Pokhara before and after each trek.
- Is it possible to book private treks?
Yes, all of our treks are designed to be private, VIP treks that allow you to take the time to explore with ease when you need or want to take your time with personalized support and the benefit of expert local guides and porter services.
- Who are your guides?
Our guides are licensed and well trained professionals, but they are much more than that! They are local loveable storytellers and guardians of the mountains, who will bring their local knowledge, safety skills, and warm hospitality to life at every step of your journey.
- What type of support do you provide during the trek?
In addition to guiding, we provide porter services, emergency support as needed, and live communication to ensure you feel safe, secure, and supported during your trek, and connected to the outside world.
- How do I book a trek with you?

- What payment methods do you accept?
We accept secure bank transfers and online payments through trusted platforms, such as Wise. Credit card payments through our secure online portal will be accepted very soon. For convenience, we are happy to accept cash when you arrive as well.
- What gear do I need to bring?
We provide detailed gear lists based on your trek and the season to ensure you can tackle the mountains in comfort and with safety in mind.
- Do I need travel insurance?
Yes. For your safety and peace of mind, we recommend taking out comprehensive travel insurance for trekking, medical emergencies, and evacuation purposes had you needed to get off the mountain in an emergency.
- How hard are your treks?
We offer treks for all levels of ability, from moderate, some of the more challenging treks. We will always provide advice before your trip on the fitness that will be required so that you are as prepared as possible for the adventure.

Yes! We encourage you to add cultural experiences, visiting a local village, and/or homestays and cultural tours where you can immerse yourself into the people and culture of Nepal.
